Bairds Rats are some of the hardest of all reptiles to see in the wild. The habitat they come from, nocturnal habits and a coloration that jsut blends into the rock formations they are found in contribute to this. In the collection we have 2 separate lines that are both beautiful, but a little different. They are both locale specific lines also. The strain that comes from around Comstock, Texas tend to show more of the beautiful silver that you expect form a good baird's.
